An NLE plugin · 2026

Auto-sync your multicam.
Inside Premiere.

Boop the folder. Get sequences. No XML round-trip, no duplicate clips, no clicking through five dialogs.

Closed beta opens soon. / Pour one out for Syncaila.
01

How it goes

  1. Point at a folder of footage.

Anywhere on disk. Boopster doesn't care about your folder hygiene.

  2. Boop.

One button. We picked the colour ourselves. You're welcome.

  3. Scenes show up in your project.

One camera per track. Multicam-ready. You go monter.

02

Why this exists

Syncaila and PluralEyes work. They also export FCPXML and import it back — which Premiere handles by duplicating your masterclips, losing your effects, and ignoring the «don't re-import duplicates» checkbox you definitely ticked.

There's a whole Adobe forum thread of people angry about this. We took it personally.

Boopster runs entirely inside Premiere via the UXP Hybrid plugin API (officially out of beta as of Premiere 26.2, April 2026). Nothing exits. Nothing gets re-imported. Your project stays your project.

Asked. Answered.

Does my footage leave the machine?

No. Everything runs locally on your Mac (or Windows, when we get there). No cloud upload, ever, unless you opt into something we haven't built yet.

Is it free?

Beta: yes. After 1.0: some kind of perpetual licence and an optional subscription for the AI features. Nothing close to Eddie AI pricing.

Why «Boopster»?

Because every great editing tool starts with a soft sound. Boop.

What about Avid?

Maybe. Tell us if you'd actually use it.

Will it work on a 50-clip multicam wedding?

That's the goal. Currently tested on synthetic fixtures and small real-world folders. We'll know more after the next two weeks of testing.

You misspelled «mostly».

Mostly harmless.
